A discovery flight is an introductory flight lesson for anyone who may be curious about learning to fly. Its consists of a 30 minute ground portion, followed by an hour flight. Many pilots today began with a discovery flight. It’s a great way to see what life is like from the skies!

This portion will include 30 minutes of very simple ground practices, such as preflighting, calculating weight and balance, and performing other inspections. This is a great insight into what pilots are required to do before they’re even airborne.

You will have controls for most of the flight. Aside from the landing portion, you will have the opportunity to perform climbs, descents, turns, taxi, and even takeoff! We will fly around Salina and you’ll get to experience what it looks like from the skies.
